The Sunday Letter Project

Find a pen-pal through our cozy letter-writing program—without sharing your home address. We act as your "Letter-Keeper," holding correspondence until you pick it up.

• Write an intro letter including your first name, general location, what brings you joy, and how often you'd like to exchange letters
• Address your envelope to a shop in our network, with your return address listed as your name c/o Nottawa Cottage Bookstore
• Mail with a regular stamp—your letter will wait in a basket until someone picks it up
• Check back at the bookstore for replies, or browse our intro basket to find a new pen-pal
• No phone numbers or social media handles—email addresses only if you'd like another way to connect
• Writers must be 18 or older to participate in the pen-pal network
