Shelve your book at our shop
We stock a small, curated selection of titles from local authors. Here’s how the consignment program works — plus a few things worth knowing before you reach out.
A simple, industry-standard arrangement
An industry-standard split, a 3-month consignment term, and a small fee that covers the work — reading samples, doing inventory, the paperwork.
Simcoe County authors only
We focus on books from Simcoe County and the immediate area — close enough to be neighbours.
- You live in Simcoe County.
- Your book was published within the past year.
- We can’t take Amazon KDP or Amazon-only self-published titles.
- You can drop copies off at the shop in person.
Four steps
Here’s how the program runs, start to finish.
Apply with the form
Tell us about you and the book — title, ISBN, format, genre, a short description, and the $50 application fee.
We read and review
We’ll read your sample, talk it through as a team, and reply with a yes, a not-quite-now, or a follow-up question.
Drop off three copies
If we say yes, you’ll bring three copies to the shop and we’ll set them up on the shelf for a three-month run.
Settle up after three months
We’ll let you know what sold, send your 60% share, and chat about whether to renew the run or wrap things up.
Please don’t send unsolicited copies
Books mailed to the shop or dropped off without an approved application are donated to charity. Please apply first — that way we can give your book a fair shot on our shelves.

Applications are open year-round. Send yours through and we’ll be in touch.
